Tonight we enjoyed a fish fry with Brian's family while they were here visiting. Brian and Papa caught the catfish yesterday morning before they got busy with work around the house. I can't believe how long it has been since we have all been together for a traditional Gilstrap family fish fry. Tonight felt like old times.
Our niece, Brian's sister's daughter, turned 9 years old today. Even though she still hasn't been able to see the babies, we were all able to do FaceTime with her this evening. Drake and Kennedy have enjoyed their quality time spent with Aunt Gigi & Uncle Matt. Aunt Gigi & I had fun dressing Kennedy & taking pictures today. We dressed Drake, but Kennedy was much more of a willing participant.

I bet Hannah loves face time with the babies!!!
ReplyDeleteI have found that no matter how hard I try, my daughter was-and is still- much more fun to dress than my son is now...the good upside to having a notsofun son to dress is that he doesn't give a flip what he wears which makes that job easy peasy ;-)
They are so cute with their outfits, and I love Kennedy's bow head. We just found out we have another boy coming in April, so my addiction to bows will just have to remain on the head of my 7yo ha! I am thrilled to be having another boy-- already plotting coordinated outfits with matching shoes...not that they will give a hoot about my efforts though!!
Im glad things are settling in for you guys. Its nice to be able to get back in a swing if things, pretty soon i am sure you will be handling the kids without extra hands! It just takes time and courage and commitment to see the harder times through--all of which you and Brian appear to have :-)
Enjoy your Sunday
